Annette Funicello, an American singer and actor. She is best remembered as being one of Mickey Mouse Club's original Mouseketeers. At the age of a teen she began her singing career. Her popularity grew due to songs like 'Tall Paul 'and "Pineapple Princess. Annette was raised in Utica by Italian-immigrant parents. The shy girl was when she was a child. As she wished to have success in her career as an entertainer she began performing as well as dancing. The mid-1950s saw her gain a significant amount of recognition due to her roles on "Disney" sketch shows. Annette changed her Disney image when her age increased and she began to take the stage in adult roles. Most famous for her role as an actor who pioneered the "beach-party" style of film. Her appearances in films included "How to Stuff A Unruly Bikini.' Pajama Party.' and Beach Party. The singer continued to record music albums.
